NOTICE OF ADOPTION To the taxpayers of Union Township, Hendricks County, Indiana. You are hereby notified that on March 26, 2016, Union Township Trustee and Board, Hendricks County, Indiana, pursuant to notice heretofore given, and under and by virtue of IC 36-8-14, a plan whereby a Cumulative Fire Fund was established to provide for the following: For all uses set out in IC 36-8-14 The fund will be provided for by a property tax rate of thirty-three thousandths ($0.033) on each one hundred dollars ($100.00) of taxable real and personal property within the taxing unit beginning in 2018 payable in 2019 and thereafter, continuing until reduced or rescinded. NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED CUMULATIVE BRIDGE FUND Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of Madison County, Indiana, that the Madison County Board of Commissioners will consider at the Health Department Conference Room, located at 206 E. 9th Street, Anderson, Indiana at 10:00 a.m. on April 3, 2018, the establishment of a Cumulative Bridge Fund under the provisions of Indiana Code ^8-16-3-3 for the purposes as follows: for all uses as set out in IC ^8-16-3-3. The tax will be levied for real and personal property in the taxing district and will not exceed $.10 cents per $100.00 of assessed valuation. The proposed fund will be levied beginning with taxes due and payable in the year 2019. Taxpayers appearing at such hearing shall have the right to be heard thereon. The proposal for establishment of the Cumulative Bridge Fund is subject to approval by the Department of Local Government Finance. Within thirty (30) days after the date of adoption of the cumulative fund by the Madison County Board of Commissioners, the Madison County Board of Commissioners will publish a Notice of Adoption. PLAINFIELD TOWN COUNCIL ORDINANCE NO. 08-2018 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE PLAINFIELD ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF PLAINFIELD, INDIANA, AND FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL TAKE EFFECT WHEREAS, I.C. 36 7 4, et seq., empowers the Town of Plainfield Plan Commission to hold public hearings and make recommendations to the Town Council of the Town of Plainfield concerning ordinances for the zoning or districting of all lands within the incorporated areas of the Town of Plainfield; and, WHEREAS, the Town of Plainfield Plan Commission has conducted a public hearing in accordance with I.C. 36 7 4, et seq., with respect to a proposal to amend the Plainfield Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Plainfield, Indiana, and has certified such proposal petition TA-18-001 to the Town Council of the Town of Plainfield with a favorable recommendation: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF PLAINFIELD, HENDRICKS COUNTY, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. PLAINFIELD TOWN COUNCIL ORDINANCE NO. 09-2018 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING AND MAKING A PART OF THETOWN OF PLAINFIELD, INDIANA, CERTAIN DESCRIBED TERRITORY CONTIGUOUS TO THE CORPORATE LIMITS TO THE TOWN OF PLAINFIELD AND ADDING SAID TERRITORY TO COUNCIL DISTRICT NUMBER 2 (GATH PROPERTY 619 N CENTER STREET ANNEXATION) WHEREAS, all landowners residing within a certain territory located outside of, but contiguous to, the Town of Plainfield (the Town) have requested annexation of certain parcels of property; WHEREAS, the Town Council (Town Council) of the Town deems it advisable and in the best interest of the Town and of the territory hereinafter described (the Territory) to annex the Territory to the Town in Hendricks County, Indiana; WHEREAS, the Territory is contiguous to the current boundaries of the Town; WHEREAS, a majority of the Territory consists of residential and undeveloped land; WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town has adopted a resolution approving a Fiscal Plan for furnishing municipal services to the Territory, at least two (2) copies of which shall be on file and available for inspection in the Clerk-Treasurer's Office located at Plainfield Town Hall in Plainfield, Indiana; and WHEREAS, on February 22, 2018, this Council held a public hearing on this annexation, following publication on January 31, 2018 of a Notice of Hearing regarding this ordinance. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN: Section 1. The Town Council declares that the Territory, described in Exhibit A attached to and made part of this resolution, is contiguous to the Town and is hereby annexed to and made a part of the Town, Hendricks County, Indiana. Section 2. The Territory shall become a part of Council District Number 2 of the Town and the Ordinance defining the Council Districts of the Town shall be amended accordingly. Section 3. The Clerk-Treasurer of the Town shall publish notice of the adoption of this Annexation Ordinance in the Hendricks County Flyer on March 17, 2018, and following the lapse of the period of time for filing an appeal, in accordance with I.C. 36-4-3-22, the Clerk-Treasurer of the Town is hereby ordered to: 1. File this Annexation Ordinance by April 17, 2018 with the County Auditor, the Hendricks Circuit Court, the Hendricks County Election Board, the Office of the Secretary of State and the Office of Census Data; and, 2. Record this Annexation Ordinance with the Hendricks County Recorder. Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon completion of the filing and recordation requirements described in Section 3.
